Professional Support for Lasting Mental Wellbeing

Something brought you here - perhaps a weight you’ve been carrying too long, a relationship that’s straining, or a sense that the way you’ve been coping isn’t working anymore. Whatever it is, you don’t have to sort through it alone.
I’m Lynn, a psychotherapeutic counsellor with an integrative approach. That means I don’t apply a single method to every person who walks through my door. I listen first. Then I draw from different therapeutic traditions - trauma - informed work, relational approaches, practical strategies - depending on what you need, not what a textbook prescribes.
I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, dementia (both those living with it and those caring for someone who is), family tensions, and the quieter struggles that don’t always have a name - feeling stuck, unseen or disconnected from yourself.
What I can offer is attention. Real attention. A space where you can say the things you haven’t been able to say elsewhere, and find your way toward something that feels more like solid ground.
if you’re wondering whether this might help, we could start with a conversation?

"I cherish my friendship with Lynn Maclean. She has contributed significantly to the work of Memory Bridge, not only as a scholarship recipient to Memory Bridge's 2025 Annual Training Retreat in Indiana, but in my personal ongoing learning, as she is a member of a small study group invested in learning how we can reach the people with dementia who many would consider no longer capable of participating in meaningful relationships.
Lynn is a profoundly attentive listener and is blessed with the very rare gift of being able to enter empathically into the life-worlds of people from all walks of life in all manner of emotional, psychological and existential need".
"Very kind counsellor, who prompts me with questions, making it easier to talk and open up! I have found counselling to be very beneficial to my mental health, and my mental well-being is so much better now than when I began. Thank you so much for all your help".
"Deep respect and gratitude for my therapist".
"My Counsellor didn't just hear, she listened! The sessions allowed me to start on the pathway that I will now follow".
"Felt like a really safe and warm space. Counsellor was very friendly and completely non-judgmental".
"Very understanding and helpful. Easy to talk to. Would definitely recommend her. She listens and her voice is very relaxing and helps to calm me down".
"Felt very safe, and I never felt judged for any of my thoughts or actions. Was like talking to a friend - thank you so much".
